Second date

Due to popular demand I am adding a second date for our Taste of Lancashire evening which is Thurs 26th November. Six courses of the best of all Lancashire food for £25!

Smelly Apeth

Mark has been at Churchmouse trying new cheeses including the award winning Smelly Apeth from Saddleworth cheeses (Sean Wilson who played Martin Platt in Corrie). From soap to cheese. Mark is not discussing the Rovers score!!!

Taste of Game Evening

Ever eaten venison, wood pigeon, pheasant or duck? For all of you who are new to game, we are offering you the chance to put your culinary taste buds to the test. Enjoy the special six course meal for £24.95 per person. Tastes of Game Evening starts at 7:00pm on Sunday 18th October so do not be late. I will see you there.

Exciting new dishes at Bistro 26

We change our menus regularly at Bistro 26 and I am always excited by this. The smell, taste and texture of new combinations of local seasonal ingredients, put together in a creative manner, produces the perfect tasty dish. Imagine, I go through this exhilarating process at least 10 times before my menu is completed. This process has just begun.....I will inform you of the new menu when it is finished....

Blackburn in a 8 goal thriller

Blackburn Rovers lost 6:2 to Arsenal last week. It is obvious that we need a striker....and thinking about it, another 10 new players. Maybe a manager too! At least we cannot lose this week.
